VF-162 MOVES TO THE WEST COAST
After its Med cruise aboard Intrepid, VF-162 moved with CVW-16 to the West Coast. The move to Miramar also involved transitioning to the F-8A Crusader. The 1963-1964 cruise was the first of six cruises in the Crusader, but the only one in the F-8A.
